Marketing and Communications

The Marketing and Communications Group provides a strategic marketing and communications function for all of our services. This includes advising council services on effective communication with residents and partner organisations.

The group produces the Citizen magazine for residents and many other publications. It plans and implements communications campaigns aimed at keeping people informed about us and our achievements.

The group is responsible for the strategic management of our website. It deals with enquiries from the media and issues news releases and other information to broadcasters and the local, national and professional press.

The group also manages our staff communications, including producing People Matters - our staff magazine.

It also manages our brand identity, provides advice on purchasing print and design, and coordinates all major publicity such as leaflets, posters, opening events and exhibitions etc.
