Community Groups

 

General information

Castle Green continues to develop strong links with a wide range of community groups and organisations. We are pleased to host the following community groups who use our facilities throughout the week:

 

Woodward Old Folks

The Woodward Old Folks group run social activities for older people living in the area. Come along for a cup of tea and a chat and join in the raffle or play a game of bingo. New members, friends and guests are always welcome.

Silver Ray

Silver Ray offer spiritualist and healing services. This very popular group meets regularly offering support and a social network for families and friends.

 

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace offer a homework support service for local school children, new members always welcome.

 

Chance to Shine Youth Club

Our partners from the Community Police Service and local volunteers organise a youth club for young people aged 8 years to early teens. A varied programme of sports, arts and social activities are on offer.

 

Multi-faith groups

Castle Green host several multi-faith groups who meet regularly during the week and at weekends. A varied programme of prayer, music and social activities are on offer.

 

TX Vikings

 

Ward surgeries

Local Councillors offer monthly support and advice for local residents.

Our groups are available:

Weekdays, 8.30am - 10pm

Saturday, 8am - 1pm

Sunday, 8am - 5pm
