We have a wide range of parks, open spaces and nature reserves to explore and enjoy.

Barking and Dagenham parks

Millennium Centre
Our visitor and education centre, open to the public throughout the year.

Peace and Memorial Garden - Central Park, Dagenham
A living memorial to all those who have suffered abuse, persecution and death during hostilities and war.

Horse riding
We do not operate a riding school, although there are private clubs and facilities in the local area.

Fishing
There are several places within the borough where fishing is permitted.

Trewern Outdoor Education Centre
We do not have a residential study centre in the borough, but instead children/adults can visit Trewern Outdoor Activity Centre.

Trees
Our Tree Section maintain all trees owned by us in parks, open spaces, cemeteries, amenity greens and streets in this borough.
