Our Molten Festival has something for everyone to enjoy and is jam packed full of international performances, top local talent and family fun which, through a week of spectacular entertainment is guarenteed to knock your socks off!

In particular we know that our Launch Party at the Barking Beach on Sunday 2 September will definitely impress, especially with headline act Scarabeus, who will amaze you with their daring and beautiful aerial dance on the tower of Barking Town Hall.
During the week you will find a veritable smorgasbord of activities around Barking Town Centre including the IG11 Arts Trail, Far From The Norm performing at the Broadway theatre and a series of walking tours where you can learn about the public realm, public art and rich heritage features to be found in barking Town Centre.
Similarly our Showtime Saturday on 8 September will definitely not dissapoint, especially with the Lords of Lightning finale with their awe inspiring live performances harnessing four million volts of raw electricity!
And that's not forgetting, on Sunday 9 September the Bandstand Marathon, will bring live music performances outdoors in bandstands and open spaces right accross the UK; we will have local musicians playing in Barking Park to mark a wonderful ending to the Molten Festival!
