Report a hate incident

What is a hate incident?

If someone feels that they have experienced threats, verbal insults or a physical attack because of their sexuality, race, gender, age, disability or faith then it is classed as a hate incident.

If they decide to report to the Police, the incident may then be classified as a hate crime. Hate incidents can be reported by the direct victim or a third party.
