Hate crime

Hate hurts - report it!

We are your council and are here to help you

Hate crimes affect hundreds of people in London every year, however relatively few are reported to the Police. If you have been threatened or hurt because of your race, faith, sexuality, gender, age or disability, or you have seen this happening to someone else, you can report it directly to the Council:

Our commitment to you

We understand that it can be very upsetting to be targeted by someone just because of who you are. We do not want you to feel that you have to cope with this on your own.

We recognise that you may find it difficult to report directly it to the Police so the Council have worked closely with local agencies to develop alternative ways for you to report and get help.

We will take your complaint seriously

We appreciate that the decision to make a report can be difficult. However, we aim to make it as easy as possible.

To report hate you can do so by contacting the Council by:

You can also report to one of our Third party reporting sites
