Entertainment licensing
Children and young people must be licensed to work in entertainment. For further information go to entertainment licensing.
Children in entertainment must be in the care of their parent, their legal guardian or approved Chaperones. Entertainment includes television, filming, theatre, modelling and certain sporting activities. Chaperones must be authorised or approved by the local council.

The Access and Attendance Team is responsible for issuing licences for Chaperones and children and young in entertainment in Barking and Dagenham.
