Request the Mayor for your event

Attendance at an event depends on the Mayor's availability as there are approximately 350 events the Mayor attends each year.

If the Mayor is unable to attend the Deputy Mayor may be asked to attend, also subject to availability. All engagements have to be checked in the Mayor's diary.

Please complete the online form below to request the Mayor's attendance at an event in plenty of time. (Late requests often are declined due to lack of notice or clashing of events).

If at all possible please call before requesting the Mayor's attendance, so the date can be checked with the diary.

When we have received your request we will confirm in writing if the Mayor is able to attend, we will also send you an engagement form for you to complete if the Mayor is able to attend. Please send the completed form back to us as soon as possible.
