The authority may assist with travel costs to sixth form or college if the establishment is more than 3 miles as measured by the nearest available walking distance.
Students are entitled to apply if you can prove that you live 3 miles from the establishment, that the student has been offered an unconditional place on a full-time course at the establishment, and that the parent/guardian of the student is in receipt of:
