Further Education Transport

The authority may assist with travel costs to sixth form or college if the establishment is more than 3 miles as measured by the nearest available walking distance.

Students are entitled to apply if you can prove that you live 3 miles from the establishment, that the student has been offered an unconditional place on a full-time course at the establishment, and that the parent/guardian of the student is in receipt of:

Income support
(Income based) Job seekers Allowance, or
Working Tax Credit (if earning under £14,200 a year)

Applying for school sixth form travel grant

The student or their parent/guardian can apply for the sixth form travel grant. Please download the application form and return the completed form to Pupil and Student Services, 90 Stour Road, Dagenham, RM10 7JD.
