Education of Looked After Children
This review took place between September 2000 and January 2001 and was carried out by a group of 5 Members.
The Panel was set up to look at how well we carry out our role in relation to the education of children who are 'looked after' (Children who are in our care, including those in foster care).
Although the Panel's initial task is complete, it meets once a year to monitor progress on the recommendations contained in its first report.
It also considers whether enough resources are being prioritised to support the education of looked after children.
