Flood defences
This review took place between January 2002 and April 2002 and was carried out by 5 Members and 2 external representatives.
The Panel set out to:
- Look at the borough's flood defences and check whether they are adequate to meet the real risk of flooding
- To investigate what action has been taken in recent times to secure an effective flood defence in the borough
- To examine our working relationship with the Environment Agency Flood Defence Warning Centre and to clarify funding responsibilities
