Budget process
This review took place between October 2004 and May 2005 and was undertaken by 5 members and an external representative.
The Panel's work included an analysis of the annual budget and the suite of reports presented to the various council meetings, the methods and the degree of consultation on budget/financial issues and options for the development of the current systems and procedures.
The Panel's recommendations intend to build on the strong arrangements already employed by us and enhance the key participation of key stakeholders in the annual budget process.
