These are organised lunchtime / morning walks. 4 walks have been set up during the week for anyone wishing to improve their health and fitness, which are ideal for families, disabled people, young and those young at heart, walkers and non-walkers.
All walks are circular so start and finish at the same point, are on good paths around the borough and are led by a trained leader with a back leader making sure no one gets left behind.
Meet by The Lodge, Longbridge Road.
This walk is 2.7 miles, taking a circular route through Barking Park and should take approximately 50 minutes.
Meet at the Civic Centre.
This walk is 1.7 miles, taking a circular route through Central Park and should take approximately 40 minutes.
Meet at the entrance on the corner of Gale Street / Ivyhouse Road.
This walk is 1.7 miles, taking a circular route through Parsloes Park and should take approximately 40 minutes.
Meet at the Roundhouse car park.
This walk is 2.1 miles, taking a circular route through Mayesbrook Park and should take approximately 50 minutes.
All walks at Eastbrookend Country Park start and finish at The Millennium Centre, The Chase, Dagenham Road.
Please note: Friday walks only are not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
