Frequently asked questions

 

Can anyone use online bookings?

No - you can use our online bookings system if you are a member on our leisure database and have a Member ID and PIN.

 

For further information please contact your local leisure centre.

 

I am not a leisure centre member but would like to join and use the web bookings functionality?

You can visit or call one of our leisure centres to sign up as a member.

 

How can I get help on the online booking procedure?

Click on the 'Help' link at any stage of the booking procedure. If this does not solve your problem and you wish to continue with your booking please contact your local leisure centre for assistance.

 

Can I pay for my booking online?

No, you must pay when you arrive at the sports centre for your booked activity.

 

We intend to develop an online payments system in the future.

 

How do I cancel a booking once I have submitted it?

It is not possible to cancel your booking online. Please contact your local leisure centre for further information.

 

As a parent, can I book junior activities on behalf of my children, using my adult membership card?

No, but you will be able to view and book the activities that your adult membership allows you to take part in.

 

Junior bookings must be made using the membership card of the member who will actually be taking part in the activity. This is to ensure that the junior price is automatically selected when paying for the activity.

 

Can I book online 24 hours a day?

Bookings and booking enquiries cannot be made between the hours of 11pm and 12 midnight. Our database is unavailable during these hours as we need to run essential nightly maintenance plans.

 

Is there a limit to the number of bookings I can make online per day?

You can make up to 1 booking per activity per day at each leisure centre. This restriction is for your protection should someone attempt to misuse your membership details.

 

There are other restrictions, which are outlined further down the page.

 

How many days ahead can I book activities for?

You can book 7 days ahead from 9am onwards. Although this is dependant on the type of membership you have and/or the type of activity you are trying to book.

 

How many courts can I book per time slot per day?

You are only allowed to book a single court or class per time slot per membership card number.

 

If you have used up this allocation on online bookings, you are not allowed to make further bookings by telephone or in person.

 

How many successive courts can I book per day?

You can only book up to 1 court on any given day.

What is the latest I can book an activity, prior to its start time?

You can book an activity up to 30 minutes before the court or class time.

 

I want to book an activity that does not appear in the list of available activities. How do I do this?

Not all of our activities are available online. If the activity you require is not in the list, please contact your local leisure centre.

 

Why are some time slots blank?

Time slots that are blank mean that this activity does not take place at that time.

 

What are the 'basket' and 'checkout' buttons?

If the booking is acceptable to you and you have other bookings you wish to make, click on the 'add to basket' button and the booking will be held for you while you continue to book other activities.

 

If the booking is acceptable to you and you wish to make no further bookings, click on the 'proceed to checkout' button to continue with the process.

 

How do I obtain a list of my future bookings?

The 'view future bookings' button provides you with a list of all your future bookings at any of the leisure centres. These may have been booked online, in person or by telephone. The bookings you are in the process of making will not show in this list until you have clicked on 'submit booking' on the next page.

 

Can I print a confirmation of my booking to prove it has been made successfully?

Yes, you can print a confirmation of your booking details by clicking on the 'Print Confirmation' button on the last page of the booking process. You do not need to take this confirmation with you when you take part in your activity.

 

How do I log out of online bookings?

Please click on the 'log out' button to complete the booking progress and return to the log-in screen.
