Spillages on the highway can lead to road traffic accidents.
If you see an incident of spillage on the highway - this could include oil, gravel, sand or for example dropped cargo - please report this to us as an emergency by telephoning Barking and Dagenham Direct.
We will arrange for our cleansing team to deal with this. Response time for urgent spillages is 1 hour and for other, non-urgent spills, 24 hours.
