Traffic Engineering

Road Access - Requests

Where possible we provide pedestrian dropped kerbs at all junctions to assist people crossing the road.

However we recognise that there are still many junctions in the borough that would benefit from the provision of this facility.

When ever we carry out work on the highway, such as footway relays or implementing traffic schemes, we always review the provision of pedestrian dropped kerbs and provide new ones where possible.

If you know of any locations where this facility would be useful please let us know and when we are working in the area we will be able to review your request.
