Household waste - Domestic communal bins

We are responsible for the collection and disposal of household waste. This is a vital service that makes the area a healthy, safe and clean place to live.

We will:

Collect your refuse on scheduled days (with the exception of Christmas, new year and bank holidays)
Advertise well in advance any changes to the collection service in the local press
Provide facilities for recycling waste

You can help us by:

Making sure refuse sacks are tied and placed in the containers provided
Letting us know about any damaged, missing or defective bins
Making sure that when you request the removal of large items, these items are easily accessible on the day we have agreed to collect them
Making sure that orange recycling bags are tied up and placed in the orange recycling containers provided
