Permitted up to 70 cubic metres or 15% of the original detached or semi-detached house or 50 cubic metres or 10% of a terraced or end of terrace house. Subject to a maximum in either case of 115 cubic metres.
As long as:
Extension does not project beyond front wall of house facing a highway.
'A' to be maximum of 4 metres if 'B' less than 2 metres.
If 'B' more than 2 metres, extensions can be up to 'C' in height.
Permitted if they are less than 3 metres high with a flat roof or 4 metres with a ridge roof as long as they do not project beyond any wall of the house facing a road or cover more than 50% of the garden area.

Permitted for private car but see 7.
Permitted up to 3 square metres floor area and 3 metres high (external).
As long as:
It is more than 2 metres from the road.
Permitted up to 1 metre high adjoining a highway and up to 2 metres high elsewhere.
Permitted except onto a classified or major road. Permission is needed to cross the pavement.
One permitted up to 90 centimetres and sited below the ridge.
Note: Not all housing will have these tolerances if in doubt please ask.
