Residents who have just moved into a controlled parking zone or who have just purchased new vehicle will not always be able to supply the documentation required for purchasing a residents parking permit. In such circumstances, a 30 day temporary cover permit may be purchased.
To obtain a 30 day temporary cover permit, applicants must supply only 1 proof of address, as well as documentation for their vehicle. If any of these conditions are not met, an application may not be successful.
The non-refundable cost of a 30 day temporary cover permit is £11.50.
Permits may be purchased by post, by writing to Parking Services at the address shown or by visiting the Barking Learning Centre, One Stop Shop, 2 Town Square, Barking, IG11 7NB.

9am - 7pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
9am - 5pm, Wednesday and Saturday
