The Millennium Centre
The Millennium Centre is a visitor and education centre, which is open to the public throughout the year.
It acts as a focal point for visitors, with information about the Eastbrookend Country Park and The Chase Local Nature Reserve.
There are toilet / baby-changing facilities.
Green café at The Millennium Centre
Visitors can now enjoy morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea in the picturesque setting of Eastbrookend Country Park at the new Millennium Centre Café.
The new facilities operated by our Catering Services will be operating Monday to Friday from 10am - 4pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1pm - 4pm. They will be serving:
- Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of cold drinks
- Fresh sandwiches
- Home made cakes and biscuits
- Crisps, snacks and sweets
- Toasted sandwiches
If you fancy a relaxing stroll around the most beautiful countryside in Barking and Dagenham followed by a tasty snack then why not give us a try!
The building is wheelchair accessible.
Opening hours
April - September: 10am - 5pm (Weekends 1pm - 5pm)
October - March: 10am - 4pm (Weekends 1pm - 4pm)
Please note: Occasionally the building may be closed for staff training or health and safety reasons.
