Parking Facilities
We can agree to provide parking facilities to help people with disabilities. These facilities could be a painted parking bay in the road or on the pavement. The facility we provide will meet people's assessed need.
The Adult and Community Services Department must agree to all parking facilities we agree to provide.
Please remember:
- It is not reasonable to expect that if the person does not own a car himself or herself, any other transport can double-park while picking them up or dropping them off
- A parking bay is a polite notice only. By law, we cannot stop people from parking in it
