Freedom Pass for Elderly People
In order to qualify for a Freedom Pass applicants must be:
- Aged 60 or over
- A permanent resident in Barking and Dagenham (non-residents will need to apply to the borough in which they permanently reside)
The Freedom Pass allows unlimited free travel on all of London's buses and tube networks after 9am until 4.30am the next day, Monday to Friday and at any time on weekends and public holidays. The Freedom pass can also be used on British Rail lines within the London Area.
There is also a Freedom Pass for people with Disabilities.
