Freedom pass for people with disabilities

 

The freedom pass is for people under the age of 60 who have a permanent disability that imposes a mobility problem or who are registered as blind. There is also a freedom pass for elderly people.

 

Applicants must be registered with this authority as a disabled or blind person and meet all of the eligibility criteria for the scheme.

 

The benefits of the scheme allow unlimited free travel on all of London's buses and tube networks for 24 hours.

 

The freedom pass can also be used on British Rail lines within the London area after 9.30am until 4.30am the next day, Monday to Friday and at any time on weekends and public holidays. The freedom pass can also be used on British Rail lines within the London area.
