Training and development

The Human Resources Development Team encourage all staff to manage their own personal and professional development through the introduction of Personal Development Folders across the department.

We produce a comprehensive annual Staff Training and Development Programme and offer new ways of learning to support your personal development needs. We also operate a very successful sponsorship scheme for existing staff to qualify as a social worker.

Our Social Work staff are positively encouraged to undertake Post Qualification training in recognition of their continuing professional development.

Our Human Resources Development Team can assist all staff to develop their skills, knowledge and attitudes through training, development and learning experiences so that they are able to deliver a high quality service and receive greater job satisfaction.
