Community Disabilities Service

Equipment / Minor adaptations

Unfortunately, it is impossible to list all the types of equipment we can supply, however we have produced a list of the most requested for items that we Do Not supply.

Repair and maintenance of equipment / minor adaptations

If smaller items of equipment / minor adaptations have become worn through use then we will replace the item as quickly as possible. For larger items of equipment, such as bath lifts and portable hoists, there is a maintenance contract that means that your equipment will be serviced at least once annually and has a repair service, if it breaks down.

Collection of unwanted equipment

If you no longer require the equipment loaned to you, please contact us immediately. We can arrange a mutually convenient time for a driver to collect the equipment, which is then recycled for another service user.

Please note: We do not remove or collect minor adaptations supplied by us.

To report a repair of equipment or minor adaptations or to arrange a collection of equipment contact us at the address shown.

Equipment not supplied

Here is a list of the equipment that is not supplied by us, and where you may be able to obtain it.
