The Private Sector Housing Team aims to ensure safe and healthy homes for all the residents of Barking and Dagenham.
We provide a service to freeholders and leaseholders, landlords and private tenants (including tenants of Housing Associations). If you are a Council tenant, you should go back to the Housing page and find the appropriate section.
Our objectives for private sector housing are contained in the Draft Private Sector Housing Strategy. Consultation on its contents is now taking place and we would be pleased to hear from anybody who wants to comment on its contents.
