The Teenage Pregnancy Service

 

The Teenage Pregnancy Service is a partnership between the local Education Authority and Connexions. The service consists of a Teenage Pregnancy Reintegration Officer and a Connexions Personal Adviser.

 

The Teenage Pregnancy Service offers a range of support, advice and information for pregnant teenagers and young parents aged under 18 which includes helping you to:

The Services forms part of a wider range of support available to teenage parents including a Childcare Development Officer who manages a local Teen Parent Childminding Network and supports young parents to access local childcare, housing support through a floating housing support officer and a supported mother and baby accommodation and teenage parent midwifery team at King George Hospital.

 

The Teenage Pregnancy Service is co-located within a wider Teenage Pregnancy Team which consists of the Teenage Pregnancy Coordinator, a Project Worker, a Speakeasy Project Worker and an Administrator.

 

This service works closely with Early Years and the Family Information Service.
