This report shows the process and the results of the impact assessment carried out on Housing Regeneration Strategies.

 

The housing regeneration team works in partnership with other council departments, external agencies, developers, Registered Social Landlords and local communities. We do this to make sure our housing developments contributes to securing the physical, social and economic regeneration of the borough.

 

Findings

There appears to be no areas where there is adverse impact on the population due to the Regeneration Strategies. This is because constant dialogue is maintained with all the groups involved and different methods are used to address specific needs.

 

Recommendations

Based on the impact assessment the following changes are recommended, it is envisaged that different methods of consultation will be investigated and the cost duly considered.
