Independent Custody Visiting

Ever been in a police cell?

Independent Custody Visitors are impartial and independent members of the local community appointed by the Metropolitan Police Authority who make unannounced visits to local police stations to check on the treatment and welfare of people being held in police custody.

This is a voluntary role but full training will be given and expenses paid. If you could spare a few hours a month to fulfil this vital role and are over 18, contact us on 0808 100 1036 or go to the Independent Custody Visiting website for more information and an online application form.
