Domestic violence

 

The term domestic violence refers to abusive and controlling behaviour carried out by people towards their partners, ex - partners and family members.

 

Domestic violence happens in all sorts of relationships, across all communities.

 

It may be hard for you to admit event to yourself, that you are a victim of domestic violence. However, this is the first step to getting help and being safe.

 

No one has the right to abuse you. You have the right to be safe, be protected and get support.
