Additionally resourced provision

A local authority resource for the education of small numbers of children and young people with special educational needs. These provisions are in mainstream schools and are managed by the school.

 

Complex needs

Needs that will require the involvement of many agencies, including health, social care and education.

 

Interventions

Any special arrangements that are put in place to help children and young people with special educational needs progress. These might include specific programmes, extra teaching or staff training.

 

Provision

Resources and programmes that schools and the local authority are able to provide for pupils.

 

Provision map

A list of all the resources and programmes that a school is able to provide for pupils with special and additional needs.

 

Resourced provision

The local authority provision for the education of children and young people with special educational needs. These provisions are in settings not within mainstream schools.
