Parents are usually responsible for arranging transport for their child to go to school. However, there are circumstances when we will provide transport for children. These are fully explained in the education transport policy.
We will usually provide transport for children who:
If your child has a Statement of Special Educational Needs, is placed in a special school and needs transport, we will provide this automatically. If your child does not have a Statement of Special Educational Needs, you can apply direct.
If you want to apply for home-to-school transport and you think your child might be eligible, you can contact the Special Educational Needs Operations Manager at the address shown for information.
