Barking and Dagenham Children's Services Directory

This service directory has been created to help children, young people and families, and people working with them, to find services, organisations or projects in and around the Barking and Dagenham area.

There are listings of services provided nationally that would be of benefit also.

A service directory has been created as a part of our response to the Children Act 2004 and is also a requirement of the Government's Information Sharing and Assessment initiative.

The Information Sharing and Assessment project is about agencies working together more closely to provide children, young people and families better support from services when they need it.

Whilst working on the final product, we have produced an interim directory. This lists all services currently on our website that relate to children, young people and their families.

This list is grouped by category, but is also available in alphabetical order.

This directory shall have a brief explanation of each service, contacts for further information, opening hours, a list of services provided, the age group that would find the service useful, the referral procedure and any further information.
