The Family Information Service, part of our Early Years and Childcare Service. It offers a free, confidential and impartial advice on a range of issues in relation to early education, childcare and children's services in the borough of Barking and Dagenham.
The information offered takes account of the needs of children aged 0-16, their families, carers living in the borough.
The Family Information Service liaises with local childcare providers and produces a list of current childcare job vacancies within Barking and Dagenham and information on paying for childcare.
The service also links with local training providers and Job Centre Plus to find suitable training routes for a career in childcare.
