Barking and Dagenham Training Services

Barking and Dagenham Training Services provide work based learning programmes to people (including Modern Apprenticeships) between the ages of 16 and 25 years.

Apprenticeships and Entry to Employment (E2E) are offered in the following topics:

Administration
Care of adults
Construction
Early Years Care
Hospitality
Horticultural

The programmes are a mixture of vocational training with an employer - National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ), technical certificate, key skills and assistance to obtain employment. Entry Requirements vary.

The E2E programme is aimed at people aged 16, 17 and 18 who are not ready to directly enter employment, further education and apprenticeships.

Assistance is provided to local businesses who want to employ young people or employers who want access to these courses.
