Barking and Dagenham Foyer

We plan to build a special centre called the Barking Foyer that will provide a stable and secure community for young people aged between 16 and 25 years old.

The Foyer will provide:

116 units of accommodation
Training in basic skills
Help with finding work and permanent accommodation; and
Ongoing support when the young person has left the Foyer

Planning permission was allowed in May 2006, and construction started on the Wakering Road site in February/March 2007 and will take approximately 2 years.
