8.1 It will, of course, be necessary to measure the success of the review through the development of a performance management system. We are committed to improving performance and have implemented the Balanced Scorecard system to provide a clear framework.
8.2 Once agreed, the Improvement Plan will be used as the foundation for a Service Scorecard for Procurement.
8.3 Monitoring is key to good performance for all services, but perhaps more so for procurement where monitoring of contract performance is essential to ensure continuous improvement and value for money.
Development of key performance indicators as set out in the Procurement Actions will be monitored and reported corporately with service scorecards.
