Youth Support and Development
Borough Team
Responsibilities cover the following:
- Voluntary sector support and equal opportunities
- Training and service development
- Detached/Street based work and community based projects
- Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
- Young people's participation
Individual responsibilities are outlined in the job descriptions but in addition to this it is essential that youth work programmes are developed at other levels to ensure that the Youth Support and Development Service remains in a position to adequately respond to young people's needs.
This dynamic will take the form of all staff being involved in defining and delivering relevant programmes of work through the following routes:
- As a member of their specific team
- As a member of a thematic team
- As a member of the Youth Support and Development Service
