Flexi Learning Programme

The Flexi Learning Programme offers students an innovative vocational education programme which extends and enhances the curriculum, rather than isolating the participants from it.

The young people selected are those who would substantially benefit from a structured, vocational programme of study with extended work experience. The programme can quite comfortably sit alongside a core programme of GCSEs and can contribute towards them. It is flexible enough to meet the diverse needs of the participants.

A coherent framework of provision and national qualifications has been established. This framework is delivered by a range of Local Education Authority-approved local partners including training providers, local colleges and community based groups, with schools acting as the anchor to the National Curriculum.

Pathways to post-16 learning opportunities and meaningful employment will be clearly signposted.
