Libraries in Barking and Dagenham offer an exciting range of services to help you enjoy your leisure time or get the most out of your studies.
Our membership of the London Libraries Consortium means library members have access to millions of books, CDs, DVDs and other items available for loan to suit all tastes.
Our library services are for all the community. It's free to join, there is no minimum age limit and you do not have to live in the borough to become a member.
All libraries will be closed due to the Bank Holiday on Monday 26 May 2008. All branches will open to their normal pattern of hours during the rest of the month.
