Our computers are designed to allow customers to do things for themselves and to assist in lifelong learning.
You can search our library catalogue online. You can also check your details on the library system and renew items you have on loan online too.
Free public internet access is available at all libraries, on a drop in basis. At busy times you may have to wait for a PC and your time may be limited to a 1 hour session.
Office packages such as Word and Excel are also available from public computers and all libraries offer printing from People's Network PC's. Some libraries have scanning facilities too, please contact your local library for details.
Thanks to a successful bid, funding has been awarded by the New Opportunities Fund to install many more internet PCs in all libraries as part of the People's Network project.
The People's Network is a project to connect all public libraries to the internet, as part of the government's commitment to give everyone in the UK the opportunity to get online.
Lottery-funded by the New Opportunities Fund and managed by Resource, more than 4,000 library centres are up and running.
