Bookstart - Book Crawl

Information for Parents:

The crawl is for children of 0-4 years old
You will need to join your child to the library - for this you will need both proofs of your address and of your signature
You will receive a library membership card in your child's name, a book crawl booklet and a sticker to put in the first rounded square of the centre spread
Each time you come to the library to borrow books you/your child will be able to choose a sticker to go on the card
After 5 visits your child will receive the first certificate
After a further 5 visits a second certificate will be awarded; the third after a further 7 visits and the fourth after another 7 visits
Visits to count for the Book Crawl should normally be at least a week apart
After these 24 visits the first crawl will have been completed
Another crawl may then be commenced

Look out for the Baby Bounce 0-2 year olds.
