Open Days
We are open to the public from 10am to 4pm as follows:
The first Saturday of each month is our Family Day, offering a varied programme in addition to the costumed guided tours. Each of these days has a different theme, so check our Events Calendar below for full details. Children can enjoy activities such as craft sessions, quizzes and trails of the house.
In the school holidays and half-term breaks there are lots of special events for children at Eastbury. Keep an eye on our Events Calendar for details.
The second Saturday of the month, plus every Monday and Tuesday, is our Heritage Day. You are welcome to join a guided tour or just explore the house and gardens. If you have visited Eastbury before, then do come back in 2010 and discover something new - recent refurbishments have included enclosing the ruined turret and opening up the courtyard. Later this year new information panels will be installed in every room.
Admission charges apply - please see individual dates on the Events Calendar below for more details. National Trust cardholders are admitted free to the house on Mondays and Tuesdays.
On all our Open Days the Old Buttery Gift Shop and the Garden Tea Room are available all day. In fine weather, why not enjoy tea and cake with your friends in the peaceful surroundings of our kitchen garden?
Evening events
The programme of evening events includes Quiz Nights, concerts, Murder Mysteries and our ever-popular monthly candlelit tours. Please see the Events Calendar below for full details, or contact us for a copy of our current leaflet.
Group visits
Group visits and other special visits outside the normal Open Days are often possible. Please contact us in advance to make arrangements.
Disabled access
An important feature of Eastbury Manor House is its excellent disabled access, with designated parking in the grounds very close to the front door, and a lift to all floors.
