Loaning a Musical Instrument and instrument insurance

If instrumental lessons are offered then the pupil will be given an Instrument Loan form for parents to complete.

All orchestral instruments are loaned free of charge (this excludes pianos, keyboards, guitar, bass guitars or percussion instruments)
Parents are responsible for the maintenance and replacement (if lost or stolen) of the instrument. Therefore the insurance must be insured
The Community Music Service will organise instrument insurance for £8 annually. The excess on the Community Music Service insurance is £25 which parents must pay if an insurance claim is made

Collecting the musical instrument

Parents must collect the musical instrument from the Music Centre, Adult College, Fanshawe Crescent, Dagenham on the days/times specified on the Instrument Loan form or contact the music centre at the address shown for an appointment.

The instrumental lessons take place weekly in school during the school day weekly.
