The Broadway

The Broadway reopened in December 2004 with vastly improved public facilities, a stunning café bar overlooking the Abbey Green and a superb, comfortable, modern auditorium.

Our mission is simple: to give you, our audience, a great night out in every way, from the friendliness of our staff and the quality of our food and drink, to excellent shows featuring the best artists and companies in the United Kingdom.

With plenty of great new and exciting shows The Broadway has something special for everyone. From our Big Night Out and Comedy Club shows for adults to our Kids Club and Family Fun selection for the whole family to enjoy. You may even fancy a Friday Matinee and a delicious cream tea to fill the afternoon or maybe you want to try something different with our Broadway Special shows.

For schools and students there are top quality Theatre For Schools shows that are designed to suit specific age ranges, either Primary or Secondary School.

And who could forget the spectacular annual pantomime, which is always a treat with extra activities for everyone. So with all this going on and much, much more head on down to The Broadway for a night to remember.

We are very proud to have Barking College's renowned School of Performing Arts resident at The Broadway. Look out for the stars of tomorrow as their talented students present a regular programme of music, dance and drama. We also welcome and will support any local artists, groups or companies who wish to perform at The Broadway.
