The following pages are a response to messages posted on the original A13 Artscape website.

Some of the comments and questions are several years old, which is reflected in a common theme of concern about the profile and perceived necessity of the scheme.

In those early stages, just one project had been completed and residents and road users had yet to see that the project addressed a variety of local needs.

Although the ambition for the project website had been that it would enable online debate and engagement through 'forums' and a 'message board', inadequate staffing allocation meant that the original website was neglected and not updated.

Importantly the perception of the message board as a means of obtaining a response from the project managers was not addressed and so questions continued to be posted.

In many cases individuals used the 'email us' facility and so many comments were addressed along the way.
