This project was proposed but never realised due to contractual issues.
At this intersection of the A13 corridor, a 1 in 20 gradient pedestrian ramp intersects the line of trees to release a new walk along the canalized Mayesbrook and views of its balancing pond - the last remaining field of this until relatively recently farmed landscape (ploughed ridges are still visible) and on to the Rippleside Cemetery.
The gradient is retained in timber crib walled embankments with Thames shingle infill and planting.
All pedestrian and cyclist circulation through the future riverside park (cord landscape) is on green white and gold tarmac.
All overhead lighting is bespoke 'idest' galvanized rolled units.
