Movers Lane consists of The Pump Housewithin a newly landscaped area of earthworks - X Joules, lighting and shared cycle/footways that create a small green shelter on the road and riverside walk to Charlton Crescent Subway.
6 metres high and over 4 metres square.This pure white concrete structure contains LED lights sequenced via a computer programme.
The largest of Tom de Paor's earth-work landscapes of 'rep-tiles'. Based on the concept of 'replica tiles'.
This area will also see the installation of Tom's bespoke Idest lighting columns
Nearby, artist Anu Patel has designed a whole new approach to both the northern and southern entrances of Charlton Crescent Subway, which runs underneath the A13, linking the northern and southern residential areas of this junction.
