Lodge Avenue

Lodge Avenue consists of:

Holding Pattern, A light work clustered beneath the flyover.

The title contains a number of references; relating equally to flight and airport procedures for take off and landing, reflecting its position beneath a flyover and flight path, as well as to interacting elements containing or 'holding' a pattern.

Y Joules, A repeat of the rep-tiles seen at X-Joules and reclaiming a previously disused piece of open land at the junction for pedestrian use.

With Tom de Paor's pathways and Idest lighting, it forms an apex to a key interface of the A13 with the old Becontree Estate and industrial estate, demarcated by Holding Pattern.
