Talented athletes of Barking and Dagenham

Samantha Tate - Judo

Samantha is 16 years of age and like her sister is also a judo player.

Sam was a gold medal winner at the London Youth Games last year and has also repeated that performance in 2007 where the Barking and Dagenham girls' team won the event.

She also competed at various events around the country last year and at the British Closed Championships (juniors) Sam took 5th place.

Sam is looking to get a place on the British Judo World Class Start Squad during the 2007 season.
